The Mango MRLs app has been developed to help industry members comply with Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) in export markets. It provides withholding period (WHP) recommendations for the fungicides and insecticides registered for use in mango production. The WHP recommendations are determined by the export market maximum residue limit (MRL) and are based on the residue results of trials conducted in Australia and overseas. As these results may not reflect the residue levels in all growing conditions, it is advised that mango growers test their produce for agrochemical residues to confirm that export market MRLs are being met. Currently, the app relates to twelve importing countries, plus European Union (EU) and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) MRLs. If the country you are exporting to is not listed, please contact the Australian Mango Industry Association (AMIA), as additional data may be available.
